How to add a subscribe watermark to your Youtube videos

Hey everyone, it’s Shaun from Digital life Concepts and today we’re going to
talk about how to add a subscriber watermark to your YouTube channel videos.

Hey, everyone, it’s Shaun from Digital life Concepts and today we’re going to
talk about how to add a subscriber watermark cheered YouTube
channel videos.

This is one that’s actually done through your YouTube Channel instead of being hardcoded into your videos.

So what I did was a search for the word “subscribe” in Google images, I  went to more tools and I choose color transparent, I want to choose an image that’s not too big, ( Youtube will automatically resize it).  You can actually go over there and get into the icons. I think that the important thing is NOT to use copyrighted material! So check the setting of your search to “Intended for reuse”.

Once you find an image, go back to your channel, enter your video manager, and go to Channel Settings- Branding and upload the watermark file ( upload the image) then go test it.

Once you have uploaded the file, you can choose any one of your videos and the watermark will appear in the bottom right-hand corner. This image is a link to your channel that can boost the number of subscribers.

Please note: Although this watermark is fully functional on youtube, it’s ONLY functional on YouTube.  If someone downloads your video with external software, this image will not show up in the downloaded file. I do recommend adding a hardcoded watermark ( ie.  A image or logo that is added to the video file itself and is, therefore, part of the video).  Tutorial on that coming very soon.

Till then I hope this helps all you other video freaks build your fan base and grow your subscriptions, You can start by adding me 🙂

Cheers,

Shaun
