How to Add an embedded Watermark or Logo in your Videos

Using the YouTube branding tool is great in a pinch. But that dosen’t mean that someone can’t steal your video. Also, somtimes having the subscribe
button defaulty set in the bottom left corner may get in the way.

Embedding is a bit more in-depth, but your overall video quality will improve. Expression Encoder is an advanced audio/video-encoding and live-broadcasting application especially suited for generating Windows Media video and audio files that are optimized for other web playback scenarios, or appropriate for playback on portable devices.

Hey everybody,

It’s Shaun from digital life concepts and today we’re going to talk
about how to automate your Facebook advertising
and we’re going to talk about different methods to make sure you don’t get locked up in Facebook Jail!

In this video, I will show you how to set up your Facebook groups list into several smaller listed and by running one per day you “should” not get in any trouble with Facebook and about different methods so that you can advertise everyday, seven days a week and keep things fresh and new and that way be able to generate more leads and more business.

First, How to automate your Facebook Posting with…Facebook Poster v2

I’ve gone through several and the program I recommend is called Facebook
groups poster version 2 or just FB poster 2.

“Warning: USE this program wisely, FB POSTER V2 really will do what is says and Really will post to 10,000 groups if you tell it to and YOU WILL BE Jailed! Neither FaceBook or Facebook Poster Version 2 should not be abused!”

In the video I will show you have to set up your list into several smaller listed and but running one per day you “should” not get in any trouble with Facebook.

Facebook Poster  does quite a bit. It will join groups for you
will gather them for you.  It’ll post to them, it’ll actually get rid of groups you don’t
want. It can bump your posts which is a really nice feature, you can disable up the notifications from certain groups, so you don’t have to worry about I getting
those ding ding ding ding notifications all day

Facebook poster 2 will save all your group to a specific list so that and that’s
something we’re gonna be talking about today and of course you can get group member data again that that’s again that’s something we’re going to
in more detail in a different video.

The creator of Facebook poster 2
Sean Walters is really,  he’s incredible at his job
and is an incredibly good businessmen and he’s an incredibly good
at what he does,  By that I mean he backs his products up and I mean that in
the sense that, I get updates almost weekly so that Facebook poster is always current and ready to help

The beauty of Facebook Poster is
in my personal opinion is that it works, it’s affordable
and it has the ability to give you back you time, by doing the mundane, tedious task of Facebook advertising for you.

In the video I will show you have to set up your list into several smaller listed and but running one per day you “should” not get in any trouble with Facebook, But…

USE this program wisely, FB POSTER V2 really will do what is says and Really will post to 10,000 groups if you tell it to and YOU WILL BE Jailed! Facebook Poster Version 2 should not be abused!

It is a great tool and will save you a boat load of time, but if you abuse it you will suffer the consequences!

If you end up it Facebook jail, don’t blame me, you have been warned!   😉

How to download the Text Transcription from your YouTube Video

Hey everyone,  it’s Shaun from Digital Life Concepts.

Today, I’m gonna make a video showing you how to download the video transcription from your YouTube video directly from the YouTube user interface.  Let’s get started. Super easy way to do this and I’ve actually gone through quite a few methods tonight trying to figure out the best one or at least the easiest one, so let’s go with it.

You want to go to Video Manager. You select the video that you want to edit and you go to Subtitles and CC ,  you can see two files here, one says English and one English automatic.

Now depending on how long your video is and how long ago you upload it, it may take a bit of time for YouTube to have automatically generated a transcript file. So if you not seeing you not seeing the automatic one,  just give it a bit of time.

Now what you want to do is download it. Select the Automatic English ( or whatever language you need)
the automatic transcription /CC is not quite accurate,  I start my videos with,

“Hi,  I’m Shaun from
Digital Life Concepts and today we’re gonna do whatever”

The program that is interpreting this heard,  ” Hi,  everyone it’s John from
Monday July”…  so as you can see it means that it needs a bit work,… now here’s where you can do.

There is a couple different ways and I’m gonna start where the way I learned first, then the one that I’ve just discovered and actually recommend. You pick which works best for you.

Method One

If you just need the file and you’re doing all the editing off of YouTube, here’s what you can do.

Go to actions in the subscriptions/cc section and right there you can see you’ve got three file extensions, download the SRT file, click on it. It’s
going to give you a captions file and ask you where to store it at. Save it to your desktop.  Go to the desktop,

Now, in order to open and edit this, unless you already have some sort of SRT
File Opener, you can use notepad.

How to open the SRT  file with Notepad:

  • Hit open
  • Select a program from the list
  • Select Notepad
  • Uncheck “Always Use”
  • Hit ok.

Once you do that hit control+A and a copy, open a new text document and paste the text in it.  To get rid of all the funky formatting stuff that you don’t need, you go to edit (Ctrl+H) replace.  Replace 0-9 and the symbols, the idea is to get just the text. While you’re doing this, leave the replace field blank because you want to replace it with nothing and get rid of the formatting and the notation (–>) which is the Double Dash and lesser than symbol.

So what you end up having is all the text in its ugly, horrifying state.

You can go through, edit it, clean it up however you want. Then you can save it to a new doc and use it as a base text in your blog, you can upload it in the description of your video and of course you can re-upload it as a subtitle file which is what we’re going to do now.

So the way to do that, once you’ve got this text all fixed up, you have to save it as an .SRT file.  Since we’ve copied this from our captions file which IS  an .SRT , you could, theoretically copy/paste it all back over to the original file so you don’t have to worry about rewriting the subtitle format, but that can be extremely time-consuming and can put your CC file out of sync with your video.

I know cuz I just spent the last two and a half hours, literally doing it line by line and
it’s,  it’s ridiculous,  not to mention that you have to go back to your video and check what you said if you didn’t
script yourself.

In order to save your edited transcript:

  • File save as
  • Go down to and select the “all files”
  • Name it “caption” ( or something)
  • then add dot SRT (caption.srt)
  • Hit save and now shazam!
  • you have a srt file!

There! Now you can upload this document back into YouTube as a Subtitle File.

Now, here is what I found and I consider a better method.

Method Two

I went through, did the line by line thing and I ended up having to open YouTube to about 10,000 times and that was
just really ridiculous.

So what you can do is Pre-edit the file right here in the video caption interface on YouTube. Go through the entire list, get started by cleaning up the text in the captions before you download it. You will still have to do some editing, but not nearly as much and it will take much less time. You’re gonna end up editing the text anyway, but this pre-edit saves you a bunch of time.

Now that you’ve got this pre-edited and published and then you can download this file,  pre-edited and now you can do the same thing that I
just explained. You can open it up with notepad, transfer all the text over to whatever your regular editor is. Clean it up and add what you need and viola!

Hopefully this will save you some time and give you some cool ideas.

I would like to know which method works best for you, so please leave your pick in the comments, love to hear your opinion!

How to add a subscribe watermark to your Youtube videos

Hey everyone, it’s Shaun from Digital life Concepts and today we’re going to
talk about how to add a subscriber watermark to your YouTube channel videos.

Hey everyone it’s Shaun from Digital life Concepts and today we’re going to
talk about how to add a subscriber watermark cheered YouTube
channel videos.

This is one that’s actually done through your YouTube Channel  instead at being hard coded into your videos.

So what I did was  search for the word subscribe images, I went to more tools and I choose
color transparent, I want to choose a image that’s not too big, ( Youtube will automatically resize it).  You can actually go over here
and get into the icons. I think that the important thing is NOT to use copyrighted material!

So once you find a image, go back to your channel,  video manager, and go to Channel,  Branding, add the watermark file ( upload the image) then go test it.

Once you have uploaded the file, you can choose anyone of your video and the watermark will appear in the bottom right hand corner. This image is a link to your channel can boost the amount of subscribers.

Please note: Although this watermark is fully functional on youtube, it’s ONLY functional on YouTube.  If someone downloaded your video with a software, this image will not show up in the downloaded file. I do recommend adding a hard coded watermark ( ie.  A image or logo that is added to the video file itself and is therefore part of the video).  Tutorial on that coming very soon

Till then I hope this help all you other video freaks build your fan base and grow your subscriptions, You can start by add me 🙂

Cheers,

Shaun

It’s Shaun from Digital Life Concepts and today we are going show you
Ibourl Link Masking.

So let’s jump into it.  you need to create your account at IBO URL Toolbox and Login. If you don’t have an account yet, you can set one up HERE.  Don’t worry, it’s free.

Ibourl is like the Facebook for business, so the standard account is free.

Over here on the control panel we’re gonna go into the link where it says Ibourl Links. I’m gonna go ahead and create some new ones here to
simply use your affiliate link and mask it.

I’m going to the area in the top right here that says create new Ibo URL.
And you click on that. The friendly name is just for reference.

It’s your reference for the link you are using, the link you want to mask , I’m gonna make a quick one for another website so I’m
just gonna call it something simple and easy because that’s the for the website that will remind me afterward.

I’m gonna go ahead and put in the link I want to mask in the website link area, this will be your Affiliate Link or just any really long link that looks ugly.  Page title is whereveryou want it to show at the top of the page in the tab. Since I am putting in the link for my website it will look a bit different, but the process is the same.

Now I enter some comma separated
keywords, such as~ Income, Marketing,Business, and so on…with a comma after every keyword.

Next is the ” Show Menu Bar ” Checkbox! THIS IS THE PART THAT ALLOWS YOU TO MASK THE LINK!

If you want to share a link that is “forbidden” in Facebook, then you need to leave
this checked!

There are some more options such as “Auto Show” and then of course there’s extra things that you can have appear, But I’m going to leave
it blank since I just want the short link and mask.

Now you can scroll through your list to find the new link you just made, they
are alphabetically listed.  Scroll, down here to the new link, Look for the ” Friendly Name” and you will see that
IboURL has created the new short link.

It’s not very pretty, just a set of numbers, so I want to add an alias.  Click at add new alias  and a change that funky little number link and make it
something a little more cool. You can use most anything, ” joinus ” or ” goteamrhino ” it’s just has to be all one word, no spaces. If it says that name is taken, just keep trying different variations of what you want.

I’ll just name this one” deals”  and hit save. Now you can add multiple aliases to the same link if you like.  but since Ibourl also tracks the number of clicks that each link gets, i learned that it’s IMHO to just make a new separate link so your can keep track of which are working the best. Alright, now you know how to create and add rename your link, so save it! lol. I like to make a list of these in a document on my desktop for quick reference.

That’s the at the basic idea and now you can go ahead, right-click, copy the link address and
post that where ever you would like and that’s It!

Thanks for watching
This simple short video how to mask your
affiliate links with IBOtoolbox. I hope this video helped.

Until, Next time, take care
and have great day!

How to fix Playstation 3 (PS3) Windows Media Player Not Refreshing Issue.

PS3 Windows 7 fix

Disclaimer: This worked on my PC in the last hour, if it bricks your stuff, it’s your own fault and you know it. Enjoy 🙂

This issue just happened to me the other day.  The Windows Media Server ( Windows Media Player 12) on my PC connects to my Playstation 3,  add movies to my windows media player folder, some magic happens and I can watch them on my Playstation 3. Awesome!

I went and cleaned out some older files and added some new one and was all excited to kick back and watch some new movies on my PS3, but when I refreshed the media server on the Playstation, nothing happened. The old moves were still there and the new ones had not loaded. I reset the Playstation media server settings a dozen times and made sure the I had all my settings correct in the folders on my PC.  Still Nothing!

So today after some more trial and error with the Playstation and Windows Media Player and an exhaustive search on google, I found that, in this case, Windows Media Player 12 had not been updating! AHHHHH!

“I had been so concerned with the Playstation and Windows Media Player talking with each other and that I had the right permissions, I didn’t even look in Windows Media Player to see if the movies I added to the folder had updated in the player…they hadn’t  🙁 “

Now I thought this should be an easy fix, just tell Windows Media Player to go update itself and all would be right with the world. It wasn’t so easy. Aside from sending about a hour trying to figure out how to ” Refresh” the player to no avail and deciding the just reinstalling Windows Media Player would be the best way to fix this, it turns out that downloading…re-downloading windows media player is more difficult than I thought.

Since Microsoft included Windows Media Player 12 with Windows 7 ( most versions) it was not readily available for download on Microsoft Downloads website. I saw several other places to get it, but they looked a bit dodgy. But, in a forum I found hope where I least expected it… Microsoft support . Go figure Even more surprising was that the help was not the answers in the forum, although there was some great info there ( I left the link in case it be helpful to you).

The FIX :

You can watch it here on Youtube- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzWi47AsrRs&feature=youtu.be

In one of the generic replies you see was a link to the ” You cannot view, add, or delete items in the library in Windows Media Player 11 – The steps are also applicable for Windows Media Player 12.

A frigging Help File! Are you fing kidding me! But in my desperation I clicked on it and as it opens it brought up a Pop-up on the screen. I know, I thought the same thing and clicked off. Lucky for me I happened to read it just before it winked out of existence.

Microsoft® Fix it

WinMediaPlayer.LB.15135423535619510.1.1

https://support2.microsoft.com/fixit/

I thought this has to be a scam or an ad or something. I clicked on it and read (skimmed) the terms to see who it was from. Microsoft. Okay, what the hell.  I download the little bugger and scanned it twice with avast, it scanned clean and certificate says from Microsoft. I was really desperate and as such I ran it. It spent about 2 mins checking my version of Windows Media Player 12 and fixed everything. I selected the option to have it tell me what it was doing BEFORE it did it.

Apparently, my media player was all jacked up and this little program got it straightened out quick! No Adware or spy-stuff… it just fixed my windows media player. once it was done, I restarted WMP and hit F3 to refresh and all the new data flowed like honey, very sweet.

So if you are having the same trouble I was, give this a try, let me know how it worked and pass it around.

Best of luck and happy gaming!

Cheers

Shaun

 Update 10/1/2015

I have updated the link to the FitIt software on the microsoft site. The old one seems to have moved. This just fixed the same issue again with windows medida player and I hope it helps you out also-

Creating a sales page, landing page or “squeeze” page can be tricky. Finding the best method to draw in your client and customer base to your niche without sacrificing too much of your valuable time. Many business owners will tell you that this is a never-ending struggle, creating a balance and fine tuning your message doesn’t stop.

Now we all know that there are hundreds of WordPress plugins, themes and pages creators on the market. Some better than others, but all selling the sweet promise of instant results, increased sales and the feeling of contentment that you have that particular problem covered.

But these plugins can present a problem for the new business owners, or simply anyone that isn’t 100% computer savvy. Many of them try very to make sure they are user-friendly, but that’s not always the case. Quite frankly while researching for this article, I installed and tested several demo versions and though I am by far an expert ( I consider myself 75% Computer geek) I had to refer to the plugin instructions frequently( More had I’d like to admit ) and then began looking online for more in-depth video  tutorials.

While working with these different sales and landing page plugins, it occurred to me ” What can this do that I cannot?”  At least for a simple sales page, do I really need to spent 47$ and several hours just to get a simple sales page done? Why not do it myself?

Since I am a graphic designer, photographer and general artist, this was a simple matter of opening up Photoshop and creating an image, some buttons and wallah!

But for the rest of the world that is not so artistically inclined, here is a Video Example of the general Idea on how to create a simple sales pages for your WordPress blog, website etc. Don’t be afraid to look at different types of sales pages online for inspiration.
