Social Media Marketing Trends That Will Dominate 2016

Social Media Marketing Trends That Will Dominate 2016

Original article by Jayson DeMers, SEP 28, 2015 Source –

Summary by Shaun Bennett

If I told you ten years ago that one day soon, there would be website’s on which you could share your opinion’s globally– partake in international debates or upload a video in real-time about what was happening in your life right at the moment—all of which would require no more effort than a few taps on your mobile device , you might have laughed in my face. If I told the same story to my employer and suggested that we—the company—should consider these site’s as a potential source of publicity for advertising…I might have been at best told to focus on my work and told to stop wasting time.

My… how things have changed. Today companies have entire departments dedicated to what was at one time considered “ wasting time” on social media websites. Teams of writers, graphic designers, S.E.O specialist’s and many more working together to ensure their efforts produce a significant ROI of their time. Personal profiles became company business pages and advertising text got a new names like “tweet’s”  ”posts” and so on.   This is was the rise of Social Media Marketing.

We have all seen how much has changed in the last ten years. Using it as a guide and with a bit of understanding of marketing trends, we can make a few predications on what will make or break business over the next year.

Increase of Live or “In-the-Moment updates

Much of social media is already in the moment though limited to text and photo. The innovation of app such as Snapchat and Periscope have created the ability to upload streaming video in nearly real time. With the ability to share live video to social media instead of recording and posting those video via and outside provided, we can safety say far well to the scheduled social media posting services. Many of these have been in decline as users are much more engaged by what is happening right now rather than reading an auto-generated post written in advance.

The Buy Now Button

The integration of online shopping and ability to purchase a product or service online without having to leave the the comfort of Facebook. Company business pages and sponsored advertisements now can add a Buy Now button on their page or post. Consumers can make purchases while continuing to catch up on the current status of their friends. by the end of next year most social platform will have a similar feature. Due to the rise of user connecting via mobile devise’s, creating the ability to make a purchase without leaving the social platform “ Never Leave The App”.

Increased In-application Functionality

Facebook is at the forefront of adding new functionality. With the new Instant Articles (Which I just signed up for) to videos that auto play while you’re scrolling your timeline, it would seem that creating and expanding functionality is paramount to success. Right now they are building a virtual assistant. How cool is that?!   So if you plan on success for your business in this soon to be future, you business better include some brilliant and creative app designers that are able to anticipate the needs and wants of consumers. This trend is affording marketers more and more opportunities to interact with the target audience within a platform.

In the last decade we have seen a quantum leap in the way we work, shop live and communicate. Social media has changed the game for both business and in our person lives. During the time it took to research , summarize and write this article ,which will be uploaded to my personal blog and shared to my social media. I checked my person Facebook account 3 times, installed Periscope to my mobile, connected it with my business Twitter account, made a Live broadcast about what I was doing (writing this post) singed up for Facebook’s Instant Articles, drank a second cup of coffee while proofreading this summary and right now I think that the future will hold a splendid amount of opportunities. Media communication is going to grow beyond our wildest dreams. I can only imagine the day when we will connected directly via implant to a Data Sphere that replaced the World Wide Web.

Movie soundtracks that should be removed?

The latest trend of messing with the musical aspects of films is a growing concern.

Most recent of which is the re-release of Alfonso Cuarón’s 2013 film “Gravity” with the option to turn off Steven Price’s Oscar-winning score. Thus allowing the audience to “truly experience” the defying silence of space. This could become a new standard option in DVD and Blu-ray releases.

I have to make mention of the emotion that composers bring to the projects is, in my opinion, one of the most critical aspects of any film. Imagine   “Jurassic Park” without John Williams’s music carrying us thought the first time we looking upon the living fossil reaching up for the extra tasty leaves on the top of that tree. As for how this will impact us Full Sail students, I believe that we conduct our business as usual and if it becomes necessary to create a setting of the DVD to turn off the score, so be it. I, for one, am not going to let a small brand of nitpickers dictate to me the way I choose to create a film. I am aware of the wants and need of the audience and plan to use music to evoke emotion and carry the audience though the story. If some people want to go back to the days of silent film, I say, have fun.

The Martian on course for a Gravity-defying record

With its US box office hitting the 55 million mark, Ridley Scott’s Sci-Fi adventure has reached the potential momentum to break the current October theater release record held by Alfonso Cuarón’s 2013 film “Gravity” (Cuarón 2013). Only $700,000 short of that mark, “The Martian” is showing no signs of losing speed before the final figures are in. For those for you that have been living under a rock, either on earth or any other planet, “The Martian” is a science fiction story about a failed manned mission to Mars or an astronaut presumed dead and left behind in the evacuation.

As we see late season films that challenge box office records emerge, it seems to be showing a sign that audiences are no longer pre-ordained for the historic “Summer Blockbuster Season. This could begin to change preconceived idea about marketing and target premier dates. Now more than ever the audience is ready to see more and more, high budget and better quality films all year round, instead of waiting for the standard spring, summer, winter releases. Now we know that we have a viable market during the “off” season and the audience will be ready, cash in hand.

The upcoming Sci-Fi film “The Martian” may have had its plot hampered by some real life science. In the film, the lead character is stranded on Mars without enough food to last until his rescue, forcing him to find creative ways to grow a crop without the presence of water.

Interestingly enough, just before the film is set to open in theaters this Friday, Today, N.A.S.A. announced the unfortunate fact that there may actually be water on Mars in much higher quantities than previously known. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has captured photos, the strongest evidence yet, that salty liquid water flows on the planet’s surface during warm seasons. The Rover Curiosity has confirmed some of these findings.

Does this news take the splash out of the opening of Ridley Scott’s latest Sci-Fi Adventure? I think not! The findings of the N.A.S.A and J.P.L missions indicate that there could be water, at certain times and certain places on the Red Planet. I think a good analogy would be that of saying that because that is water somewhere in the Sahara desert, anyone can just go for a stroll through it.

Many science fiction books and film scripts have had to deal with real life science catching up to them. One example is a short story written by Isaac Asimov in which he acknowledges that in the story “The Dying Night“, he stated that the planet mercury only shows one face toward the sun. It was later discovered that mercury does in fact change rotation slightly over a much greater time, a fact Asimov noted when the story appeared in subsequent anthologies printed after this advance in scientific knowledge.

This newly discovered fact about water on Mars should not deter any but the most obstinate movie goer’s. The one’s who refuse to suspend their disbelief for their own enjoyment. I think the proper nomenclature for these type of viewers would be trolls.

All this means is that the writers of science fiction are going to have to “up their game” and dig deep for creative ideas. Writers will find it necessary to begin creating even more fantastic fictional stories, because the present is quickly catching up with the future.

The Strangest Secret – Earl Nightingale

I’d like to tell you about the strangest secret in the world some years ago the late Nobel prize-winning doctor albert schweitzer was being interviewed in London
a reporter asked him doctor what’s wrong with men today?  The doctor was silent a moment and then said, men simply don’t think.  It’s about this but I wanna talk with

We live today in a golden age this is a era that man has been looking forward to, working toward for thousands of years, but since it’s here, it’s pretty much taken
for granted. We in America particularly fortunate to live in a richest land it ever existed
on the face of the earth.

A land of abundant opportunity for everyone. but you know what happens… Lets take 100 hundred men who started out even at the age of 25. Do you have any idea what will happen to those men by the time they’re 65? Even though these men all start even that the age of 25, they all believe they’re going to be successful, if you ask’ed them if they wanted to be a success he’s tell you he did. You’d notice it, he was eager toward life, there was a certain sparkle in his eye, and an erectness to his carirage. Life seemed like a pretty interesting adventure to him.

But by the time they reach 65,  one will be rich, four will be financially
independent, five will still be working, and 54 will be broke.

Take a moment, out of 100 only five make the grade.  Now why do so many fail?  What has happened to the sparkle it was there when they were twenty five.

What’s become of their dreams?
their hopes, their plans, and why is there such a large disparity between what these men
intended to do, and what they actually accomplished?

When we say about 5 percent achive success, we have to define success
and here’s the best definition I ever been able to find.

“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.”

If a man is working toward a pre-determined goal and knows where he’s
going that man is a success, if he’s not doing that he’s a failure.
Success is the progresive realization of worthy ideal.

Rolamay. the distinguished psychiatrist wrote a wonderful book called “Man’s search for himself”,  and in this book he said;  “the opposite of courage in our society
is not cowardice it is conformity”  And therin you have the trouble today.

Christopher Lee dies at the age of 93

Christopher Lee dies at the age of 93

The veteran actor was best known for playing villains including Dracula, Count Dooku  in the Star Wars Prequel’s and  The Dark Wizard Lord Saruman in the Lord of the Rings franchise.

Sir Christopher Lee has died at the age of 93 after being hospitalized for respiratory problems and heart failure

The decision to release the news days after was based on his wife’s desire to inform family members first. The couple had been married for over 50 years.

As well as his career in film, Lee also released a series of heavy metal albums, including Charlemagne: The Omens of Death. He was knighted in 2009 for services to drama and charity and was awarded the Bafta fellowship in 2011.

His film career started in 1947 with a role in Gothic romance Corridor of Mirrors but it wasn’t until the late 50s, when Lee worked with Hammer, that he started gaining fame. His first role with the studio was The Curse of Frankenstein and it was the first of 20 films that he made with Peter Cushing, who also became a close friend.

“Hammer was an important part of my life, and generally speaking, we all had a lot of fun,” he said in a 2001 interview.”

The veteran actor, immortalized in films from Dracula to The Wicker Man through to James Bond and the Lord of the Rings trilogy, passed away at 8:30am on Sunday morning at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

His wife, the former Danish model Birgit Kroencke, decided to hold back the information for four days until all family members and friends were informed. The couple had been married for over 50 years and had one daughter, Christina.

The actor was knighted in 2009 for services to drama and charity and was awarded the Bafta fellowship in 2011.

News of his death prompted an outpouring of grief from actors, musicians, and even the Prime Minister, who all paid tribute to Lee’s great talent. His Lord of the Rings co-star Dominic Monaghan and Sir Roger Moore, who played 007 opposite Lee in The Man With The Golden Gun, were among those leading the tributes.

FaceBook Groups Poster 2.0

How to Automatically Post Ads to Facebook

Hey everybody,

It’s Shaun from digital life concepts and today we’re going to talk
about how to automate your Facebook advertising
and we’re going to talk about different methods to make sure you don’t get locked up in Facebook Jail!

In this video, I will show you how to set up your Facebook groups list into several smaller listed and by running one per day you “should” not get in any trouble with Facebook and about different methods so that you can advertise everyday, seven days a week and keep things fresh and new and that way be able to generate more leads and more business.

First, How to automate your Facebook Posting with…Facebook Poster v2

I’ve gone through several and the program I recommend is called Facebook
groups poster version 2 or just FB poster 2.

“Warning: USE this program wisely, FB POSTER V2 really will do what is says and Really will post to 10,000 groups if you tell it to and YOU WILL BE Jailed! Neither FaceBook or Facebook Poster Version 2 should not be abused!”

In the video I will show you have to set up your list into several smaller listed and but running one per day you “should” not get in any trouble with Facebook.

Facebook Poster  does quite a bit. It will join groups for you
will gather them for you.  It’ll post to them, it’ll actually get rid of groups you don’t
want. It can bump your posts which is a really nice feature, you can disable up the notifications from certain groups, so you don’t have to worry about I getting
those ding ding ding ding notifications all day

Facebook poster 2 will save all your group to a specific list so that and that’s
something we’re gonna be talking about today and of course you can get group member data again that that’s again that’s something we’re going to
in more detail in a different video.

The creator of Facebook poster 2
Sean Walters is really,  he’s incredible at his job
and is an incredibly good businessmen and he’s an incredibly good
at what he does,  By that I mean he backs his products up and I mean that in
the sense that, I get updates almost weekly so that Facebook poster is always current and ready to help

The beauty of Facebook Poster is
in my personal opinion is that it works, it’s affordable
and it has the ability to give you back you time, by doing the mundane, tedious task of Facebook advertising for you.

In the video I will show you have to set up your list into several smaller listed and but running one per day you “should” not get in any trouble with Facebook, But…

USE this program wisely, FB POSTER V2 really will do what is says and Really will post to 10,000 groups if you tell it to and YOU WILL BE Jailed! Facebook Poster Version 2 should not be abused!

It is a great tool and will save you a boat load of time, but if you abuse it you will suffer the consequences!

If you end up it Facebook jail, don’t blame me, you have been warned!   😉
